Wernigerode (dpa/sa) - The Harz University of Applied Sciences speaks of a "serious security incident" after the cyber attack. Experts are in the process of examining the IT systems in depth, which will continue over the weekend, a spokeswoman for the university said on Thursday. The duration is still unclear. The systems were shut down after inconsistencies were noticed by the digital attack. The university with 3000 students is still offline. In the meantime, the university's homepage can be accessed again, hosted externally, but not with all services, the spokeswoman said.
