Oschersleben (dpa/sa) - In Oschersleben (Börde district), a cyclist fled from a police check and was later discovered in a bush with drugs. The officers wanted to check the man on Sunday night because he was traveling without a light, according to the police in Haldensleben. The cyclist fled, later got off his bike and continued on foot. The officers found him in a bush.
The man admitted to using drugs. During a search, the police found a small amount of cannabis and amphetamines, packaging materials and a so-called Polish firecracker. The suspect is now being investigated for violating the Narcotics and Explosives Act.
