Saxony-Anhalt: hit by a car: 72-year-old cyclist dies in the hospital

Gräfenhainichen (dpa/sa) - A 72-year-old cyclist was fatally injured in a traffic accident in the district of Wittenberg. A 79-year-old caught the cyclist on Thursday with her car when turning in Gräfenhainichen, the police said on Friday. The 72-year-old fell and was seriously injured. She was taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter and died there. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
