Halle (dpa/sa) - Companies in Saxony-Anhalt's main construction trades suffered a price-adjusted decline in sales in 2022. Real sales fell by more than ten percent compared to the previous year, as the State Statistical Office in Halle announced on Monday. Businesses in commercial and industrial building construction recorded the greatest drop in turnover.
Not price-adjusted (nominal), on the other hand, according to the statistics authority, sales increased by 4.5 percent in 2022. The increase is due, among other things, to the significant increase in construction costs.
