Saxony-Anhalt: More commuters in Saxony-Anhalt on the road again

Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - In Saxony-Anhalt, almost 935,000 commuters are on the move every day. This is the result of figures from the "Pendleratlas.de" portal, which is fed, among other things, from data from the Federal Statistical Office. According to this, the number of commuters in the country increased again in 2021 compared to the previous year. This applied to the approximately 73,000 commuters from other federal states as well as to the approximately 720,000 internal commuters who live and work in Saxony-Anhalt. For commuters who went to work in other federal states, the value fell to around 141,000. Around 2.1 million people live in Saxony-Anhalt.
