Mannheim (dpa / lsw) - A good week after a fire in his apartment, a man from Mannheim died from the life-threatening injuries he sustained in the incident. According to information from Thursday, the police are assuming an accident. What exactly happened is still being determined, a spokeswoman said.
The fire brigade rescued the 55-year-old from the smoke-filled apartment last week on Wednesday night. He was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday. Other residents of the apartment building were unharmed.
