Dohna (dpa/sa) - An 18-year-old motorcyclist drove into a car on Tuesday evening in Dohna (Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district) without braking. The 38-year-old driver wanted to turn from Müblitzthalstraße into Goethestraße and came to a standstill with his car due to traffic, the police said on Wednesday. In the collision, the 18-year-old motorcyclist flew through the rear window of the car and was seriously injured.

In the back seat of the car were twins, aged eleven, an eight-year-old boy and a seven-month-old infant. The children and the wife of the 38-year-old were slightly injured and treated on an outpatient basis in a hospital. The driver was not injured.
