Saxony-Anhalt: Used car trade in Saxony-Anhalt is decreasing

Möckern (dpa/sa) - In Saxony-Anhalt, the number of transfers of ownership of cars has fallen compared to the same month last year. "The used car market in Saxony-Anhalt remains in reverse gear," said a spokesman for the state motor vehicle association on Monday. Specifically, the number of transfers of ownership in August was around 11,000. In the same month last year it was almost 15,000. The most important reason for the decline remains the lack of new car replenishment due to the excessively long delivery times, said association president Thomas Peckruhn.
