Görlitz (dpa / sn) - A man was seriously injured in an accident on a state road in the Görlitz district. The exact cause of the accident was initially unclear, as the police announced on Saturday in Görlitz. The driver of a car went off the road to the right in a curve between Kreba-Neudorf and Klitten on Friday afternoon.

The car first crashed into a tree and threw it into a bridge railing. The car then crashed into another tree. The vehicle eventually stopped in the oncoming lane. The 24-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries. The driver, on the other hand, was only slightly injured. A helicopter took the two to a hospital. The accident resulted in property damage of 31,000 euros.
