Saxony: International medical practices will be retained

Dresden (dpa/sn) - For asylum seekers in Saxony there will also be two international medical practices in Dresden and Chemnitz in the next two years. As the Ministry of Health announced on Sunday, the Free State has promised to continue to contribute to the financing until the end of 2024. Intercultural teams work in the practices and there are interpreters. General, pediatric and gynecological care is offered. Demand remains consistently high. Around 23,000 cases are treated in the practices every year. They are operated by the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians.
