Bautzen (dpa/sn) - After weeks of searching, the most beautiful Sorbian Easter egg was found in Bautzen. According to the organizers, around 1,500 people came to the 30th Sorbian Easter Egg Market to marvel at traditional decorating techniques. When the weather was not so good, 31 exhibitors took part in the market in the House of the Sorbs in Bautzen.
Before the market opened, the most beautiful Easter egg was awarded. The Association for the Promotion of Sorbian Folk Culture called for handing in traditionally painted chicken eggs. The competition and the market had already attracted many lovers of customs to Bautzen in the past.
