Dresden (dpa/sn) - Strong winds and mild temperatures await the people of Saxony at the start of the week. As the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Monday, the day begins with changing clouds, sometimes the sun comes through. Strong to stormy gusts of wind will occur throughout the day, and hurricane-force gusts are expected on the Fichtelberg. It stays dry - with temperatures between 10 and 14 degrees. During the night it will remain cloudy and occasionally rainy. Wind gusts are still expected, especially in eastern Saxony. It cools down to temperatures between 7 and 9 degrees.

The maximum values are between 10 and 13 degrees. At night it will remain overcast and mostly dry. Light rain is expected in East Saxony. The lows are between 2 and 6 degrees.
Wednesday will remain cloudy and dry. According to the meteorologists, only light winds are expected. The temperatures during the day are between 10 and 13 degrees. Overnight it will be cloudy, with isolated showers in the second half of the night. It cools down to temperatures between 2 and 5 degrees.
