Singer criticized on Twitter: Billie Eilish enters the red carpet in pajamas

At the Los Angeles County Museum of Art gala, Billie Eilish turned heads in her bizarre pajama look. But it's not just her outfit that's the talk of the town. The 20-year-old also has to take criticism for her choice of partner.

Billie Eilish has made her first red carpet appearance with new boyfriend Jesse Rutherford. At the gala of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the singer and the eleven-year-old singer-songwriter appeared in a bizarre partner look, from head to toe in Gucci: Both wore a kind of pajamas - they even wore a sleep mask - and covered themselves together with a thick duvet.

Eilish and the The Neighborhood frontman were first photographed together in mid-October but are said to have known each other for a number of years. Exclusive photos showed the two musicians on a date at a vegan restaurant in Los Angeles. That wasn't the only meeting between the two music stars. They were spotted holding hands at Universal Studios with Eilish's brother Finneas.

The couple recently appeared at a Halloween party in a macabre costume, of which Billie herself shared a photo on Instagram, confirming the relationship: she was dressed as a baby, he as an old man - a nod to the age difference between the two. Fans had repeatedly criticized this on social media. "Jesse Rutherford has known Billie since she was 15 and he was 26. Since she was a kid and now he's dating her? This just can't be good," a user wrote on Twitter.

The 'Happier Than Ever' hitmaker was also previously rumored to be in a relationship with actor Matthew Tyler Vorce. The two were repeatedly photographed on coffee dates, but otherwise kept their love private. In June 2022, Vorce is said to have confirmed the love off in his Instagram story, as some US media reported at the time.

According to the US magazine "People", the actor explained in an Instagram story: "Nobody cheated on anyone. Relationships end. It's that simple". He was responding to rumors that he had cheated on the singer.
