Thuringia: girl hit in Gotha

Gotha (dpa/th) - A child was injured in a traffic accident in Gotha. A 34-year-old hit the eight-year-old girl with his car on Mühlgrabenweg late Tuesday afternoon, the police said. According to Wednesday's information, the girl wanted to cross the street at a pedestrian island. Paramedics took the child to a hospital. The police could not immediately be reached for questions.
