Thuringia: New trade fair hotel is opened in Erfurt

Erfurt (dpa/th) - A trade fair hotel will open on Friday (10 a.m.) in Erfurt. The house directly at the exhibition center is intended to expand the hotel capacities in Thuringia's state capital, especially for business travelers, and offer opportunities for conferences. It is operated by the Légère Hotelgroup. According to the trade fair company, Erfurt is the second largest trade fair location in the five eastern German states after Leipzig. Before the corona pandemic, the Erfurt site with exhibition halls and congress center had around 650,000 visitors per year.
