Nottleben (dpa/th) - A pedestrian was hit by two cars in the Gotha district and died. First, the driver of a van hit the 60-year-old pedestrian with his car on Tuesday evening, the police said. According to initial findings, the 27-year-old wanted to turn his vehicle on a road between the municipality of Nottleben and Erfurt. He collided with a pedestrian on the road.
According to the police, because the driver wanted to get help, he left the scene of the accident and left the injured pedestrian lying on the road. At a later point in time, another vehicle collided with the 60-year-old. He died at the scene of the accident.
