Thuringia: Regional Directorate provides information on the Thuringian labor market

Erfurt (dpa/th) - The regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency reports today (10:00 a.m.) on the situation on the Thuringian labor market in January. So far, the labor market has been relatively robust despite the consequences of the energy crisis and the economic slowdown. In December, the number of unemployed in Bavaria rose only slightly to 60,800. That was 1,500 more unemployed than in November. The unemployment rate increased by 0.2 percentage points to 5.6 percent, but remained the lowest in eastern Germany.
