An accident that occurred during the MotoGP Grand Prix of Catalonia started on Sunday. This resulted in Fabio Quartaro, a Frenchman, winning this Sunday's race with Vaucluse Johann Zarco.
Takaaki Nakagami lost control over his Honda on the first brake and fell. His head struck the rear wheel Pecco Bagnaia's and the bike crashed into Alex Rins.
The three riders continued to move forward, but the Japanese driver had to be taken to hospital to undergo head and collarbone exams.
