He underwent surgery for the first time, on October 28, to treat hydrocephalus (fluid accumulation in brain cavities) and a second time, on November 2, to remove 90% of the tumor. Sources from Sant Joan de Déu have explained that another intervention is scheduled for this Monday to try to remove what remains of the tumor.

Between this and the previous operation, Oliver has undergone the cancer treatment prescribed by the doctors: a clinical trial of chemotherapy and radiotherapy with protons at a center in Madrid.

Oliver is part of the thousand cases of childhood cancer that are diagnosed annually in Spain.
