The singer teased the court hearing all week with a trailer to a new music clip for "Industry Baby," his Kanye West-produced song. It drops Friday, July 23.

Lil Nas X uploaded a TikTok on July 16 of him dancing and crying, writing that his label requested that he continue making videos even though he was scheduled for a Monday court hearing that could see him in jail.

He claimed that the hearing was about his "Satan Shoes," which were limited-edition Nike sneakers with Satanic designs. They attracted controversy from conservative circles, and Nike sued to stop their sale.

Lil Nas X teased his alleged court hearing throughout the weekend. He jokedly asked his fans which t-shirt they should wear in front of the judge and shared memes from fans describing how they would defend him.

The trailer he posted Monday shows Lil Nas X, who plays almost every character in the video. He is being tried for the "Satan Shoes" and is then asked by the prosecution about his homosexuality.
