Bessin came up with her alter ego Cindy from Marzahn at the beginning of the millennium and had a steep career after appearances in the "Quatsch Comedy Club". From 2009 and for a total of four years, she ran her show "Cindy aus Marzahn" on RTL

About two years later, Bessin announced that she wanted to retire Cindy from Marzahn. Shortly thereafter, she appeared on TV for the first time without a disguise and as herself and kept doing so with one exception. Only in 2021 did she slip into her cult role again for the show “RTL says thank you”. In about a month there will be the real comeback of the Proll Princess. The episodes of the "Cindy from Marzahn Show" were already recorded in May.
