This year "Grill den Henssler" is once again going into an outdoor summer round. From Sunday (July 31), viewers can watch one of the five new episodes of "Grill den Henssler Summer Special" every Sunday from 8:15 p.m. on VOX (or via RTL). Moderator Laura Wontorra (33) leads through the duels as usual. Steffen Henssler (49) wants to "grill" these 15 stars this time.
In the opening episode on July 31, the professional chef will meet choreographer Nikeata Thompson (41), comedian Chris Tall (31) and actor Oliver Mommsen (53) on the lake stage in Elbauenpark Magdeburg. Not the first attempt for Tall to grill the Henssler. This is his fourth time participating in the show. Thompson, on the other hand, already managed to win the main course of the "Grill den Profi-Sommerspecial" against Roland Trettl (51) in 2018. The celebrities are coached in episode one by the Eggert brothers.
Henssler also encounters repeat offenders in episode two: both comedian Paul Panzer (50) and presenter Evelyn Weigert (32) enter the cooking arena for the fourth time. Actor Uwe Ochsenknecht (66) tries his luck for the second time. The three celebrities are supported by professional chef Björn Swanson (38).
However, some celebrities are also brandishing spatulas on the show for the first time. On August 14, an issue with the newcomers singer Kim Fisher (53) and comedian Wigald Boning (55) will follow. Jungle king Filip Pavlović (28) was already seen in the jungle special of the show this year. She will be instructed by professional chef Ali Güngörmüs (45).
On August 21, Princess Gloria von Thurn und Taxis (62), moderator Patrick Esume (48) and comedian Ilka Bessin (50) want to prove themselves at the grill. They are coached by Johann Lafer (64). And under the watchful eye of cooking coach Christian Lohse (55), presenter Harry Wijnvoord (73), musician and presenter Stefan Mross (46) and designer Barbara Becker (55) will conclude on August 28th.
As usual, the well-established jury of Mirja Boes (50), Reiner Calmund (73) and Christian Rach (65) evaluated which dishes performed best. "Grill den Henssler Sommer-Special" takes place for the fifth time as an open-air recording. The format differs from the usual show in that dishes can only be prepared on grills.
