Arnsberg (dpa / lnw) - In an alleged race between two drivers in Arnsberg (Hochsauerlandkreis), an uninvolved passer-by was seriously injured. An 18-year-old and a 19-year-old drove behind each other at high speed on Saturday evening and then turned their cars into a parking lot, the police said on Sunday. When turning, the 18-year-old lost control of her car and hit a 55-year-old man who was standing in the parking lot with several other people. The 55-year-old was taken to the hospital, according to the information, there is no danger to life. According to the police, an illegal street race can be assumed, and the cars and driver's licenses of the two drivers have been seized.
