Annaberg-Buchholz (dpa/sn) - A 15-year-old was critically injured in Annaberg-Buchholz (Erzgebirge district). Residents discovered the young people on Friday evening with stab wounds in the hallway of an apartment building and alerted the emergency services, as the Chemnitz police announced on Saturday. The 15-year-old was flown to a hospital in a rescue helicopter and had emergency surgery there. A 32-year-old suspect was arrested on Saturday morning.
According to the current state of investigation, the young person had met the man in the house. The 32-year-old tenant is strongly suspected of having attacked the young person and then having fled. A relationship act is conceivable, it said. The victim and suspect knew each other, but are not related.
