Athletic Club, Barcelona and Real Madrid, defenders of the 'Sustainable Project' in front of the agreement with the CVC Fund called League Impulso, have shared with the Superior Council of Sports (CSD) the statement of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to request Let it avoid "irreparable damage" to Spanish football.
According to the three conducting clubs of the 'Sustainable Project', for the RFEF, it would be "incompatible with our legal system" and "should not be carried out."
In the same way that the Federation requested "the intervention of the competent authorities to these effects," Athletic Club, Barcelona and Real Madrid ask the CSD to act "in the exercise of their competences", since they aim that "has the duty of Avoid irreparable damage to our football. "
For this reason, they point out that in the Extraordinary General Assembly of Laliga convened for the next day 10 December 2021, it is "aimed to consume a flagrant violation of the legal regime applicable to Laliga and the audiovisual rights of Spanish football".
"The reaction of Laliga to the repeated requests of the three clubs has been to undertake a tough campaign of attacks, misinformations and, above all, refuse to assess the alternative raised by maintaining intact their plans", so they refer in their writing to the article 8.S) of the Law of Sports that "grants the Superior Sports Council a guarantor role of the legality of the application of the regulations that regulates the world of sport".
And ensure that "not acting the CSD in exercise of its competences, serious irregularities could be committed that seriously not only the economic future of Spanish football, but also the legal framework that the legislator adopted for the governance of this sport."
Finally, Athletic, Barcelona and Real Madrid announce that in the event of the project League Impulso, they feel "the inescapable obligation to exercise the corresponding legal actions, of the legal nature proceeding".
