After her brother's death: moving TV performance by Hayden Panettiere

Hayden Panettiere's younger brother died unexpectedly recently. Now the actress is appearing on TV again for the first time. In the interview, she also talks about her loss and fights back tears.

It's been more than two weeks since Hayden Panettiere surprisingly lost her younger brother Jansen Panettiere. The 28-year-old actor died on February 19 of complications from cardiomegaly (enlarged heart). After the tragedy, the US actress has now made a major TV appearance on the show "Good Morning America", where she spoke publicly about her loss for the first time.

The focus for the time being was the new film "Scream 6" (in cinemas from March 9), in which Panettiere returns in her role as Kirby Reed. At first, the actress seemed composed, until moderator Michael Strahan expressed his condolences for her brother who passed away. Close to tears, Panettiere replied: "Thank you. He's right here with me."

Jansen Panettiere was known for his dubbing roles in "Ice Age 2 - Now Taut's" and "Family X - In Secret Mission" as well as for his appearances in the films "Ein verhexter Sommertag" or "The Walking Dead". He appeared in one episode of the series in 2019.
