The National Weather Service has issued Severe Thunderstorm Watches for large parts of New York State, especially south of Route 20. The Watch will remain in effect until Saturday at 11:00 PM.

A line of Thunderstorms, which were moving east at 35 MPH, was observed at 12:42PM. It ran from Gilbertsville to Exeter Center. This system can produce winds up to 40 MPH.
