Mannheim (dpa / lsw) - SV Waldhof Mannheim has kept up with the top of the table in the 3rd soccer league with a home win against SV Meppen. At 3: 1 (2: 1), the team of coach Christian Neidhart convinced on Saturday, especially in the first half.
However, the Waldhöfer missed many good chances and thus missed the early decision. However, the conservative Emslanders could not capitalize on this, so that the SVW's victory was okay overall.
The guests took a 1-0 lead in the tenth minute thanks to a penalty converted by Marvin Pourie. Less than 15 minutes later, Marten Winkler equalized from a tight angle to make it 1-1 (23') before Dominik Martinovic made it 2-1 in front of 8,520 spectators (31').
