Singen (dpa / lsw) - On a train journey from Singen (district of Constance) to Schaffhausen, a young person sat down on a seat prepared with several nails. The 17-year-old was not injured, the police said on Wednesday. When he sat down with two friends in a large compartment on Friday afternoon, he is said to have felt painful stitches. He got up and discovered the tips of twelve nails protruding from the seat cushions.
The teenager removed the nails and reported to the federal police in Constance after the train ride. A railway employee then searched the train and could not find any other manipulated seats. The federal police began investigations into the background of the crime.
