Bietigheim (dpa/lsw) - The Bietigheim Steelers have signed Michael Keränen for the coming season in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). "He will give our offensive even more power," said managing director Volker Schoch in a club statement on Wednesday. "Michael Keränen can be used flexibly, is secure on the target and is looking for a finish."
The 32-year-old attacker comes from the Finnish first division club Vaasan Sport. There, Keränen, who played one game in the North American professional league NHL for the Minnesota Wild, scored 37 points in 72 games.
