Baden-Württemberg: But no cup cracker for Friedrichshafen volleyball players

Friedrichshafen (dpa / lsw) - The volleyball Bundesliga team VfB Friedrichshafen avoids the champion Berlin Recycling Volleys in the round of 16 of the DVV Cup. Because the United Volleys from Frankfurt had not received a license for the top men's division for the 2022/23 season, the games had to be partially re-drawn, as the volleyball Bundesliga announced on Wednesday. The draw will take place on August 4th. Instead of playing Berlin in front of their home crowd, the defending champion Friedrichshafen will now be playing away at a lower-class regional cup winner in the opening round on November 5th or 6th.
