Baden-Württemberg: Farnerud's nephew changes to Stuttgart's U19

Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - VfB Stuttgart has signed the Swedish junior player Colin Farnerud for its U19 Bundesliga team. The 18-year-old is the nephew of former VfB professional Alexander Farnerud, who played for the Swabians from 2006 to 2008 and won the German championship with them in 2007. Colin Farnerud, who comes from the French club RC Lens, had recently played several games for the U21s and U19s of the Bundesliga soccer team as a tryout player and apparently impressed.
