Baden-Württemberg: Man has cardiac arrest at the wheel

Gaildorf (dpa / lsw) - A driver left the road in Gaildorf in a left-hand bend and almost ran over two pedestrians - shortly beforehand, according to initial findings, he suffered from cardiovascular arrest. The two pedestrians, aged 34 and 38, were able to avoid the car in good time in the incident on Saturday and were unharmed, the police said on Sunday. The 56-year-old's car crashed into a lamppost. Rescue workers had to free the man and resuscitate him. His condition is still critical.
