"The church and the police have acted in an exemplary manner here," he said on Tuesday night. "That's the way we deal with the "last generation" in Baden-Württemberg: level-headed, calm and consistent." The police in the southwest are keeping a close eye on the actions of the "last generation".
According to the police, the disruptive action planned for Christmas Eve in the Church of the Resurrection in Stuttgart-Möhringen failed after there were indications. The service was then recorded during the dress rehearsal the day before. Federal Justice Minister Marco Buschmann (FDP) had also criticized the activists' plans, which the police said had been thwarted. However, according to their own statements, they had not intended to storm the service. Rather, they would have wanted to stand peacefully at the manger.
