Baden-Württemberg: Reich citizen scene: Eight arrests in Baden-Württemberg

Karlsruhe (dpa/lsw) - Eight people were arrested in Baden-Württemberg during the major anti-terrorist raid against suspects from the so-called Reich Citizens' Scene. According to the Federal Prosecutor's Office, there were operations on Wednesday in the Ortenau district, in the Enz district and in the districts of Karlsruhe, Tübingen and Freudenstadt. A total of 25 men and women were arrested in Germany. More than 130 properties were searched nationwide, 38 of them in Baden-Württemberg. The suspects are said to have planned a coup and, in some cases, also trained with weapons.
