Baden-Württemberg: The Supervisory Board of VfB Stuttgart is complete again

The football club of Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart has appointed four new members to the supervisory board. The supervisory body of the Bundesliga club is complete again.

Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The supervisory board of VfB Stuttgart will be complete again with nine members in the future. The general meeting of the football AG appointed four new members to the control committee on Wednesday, the Bundesliga club announced. The former deputy chairman of the supervisory board, Claus Vogt, Bertram Sugg, is no longer one of them. According to media reports, Sugg had recently resigned from his post on the grounds that Vogt had withdrawn his trust. Nevertheless, Sugg actually wanted to remain a simple member of the supervisory board. Kärcher boss Hartmut Jenner is no longer there either.

A new member is the former member of the Bundestag and former Baden-Württemberg Environment and Transport Minister Tanja Gönner, who will be General Manager of the Federation of German Industries (BDI) from November. In addition, the entrepreneurs Alexander Klaer (SAP), Beate Beck-Deharde (beck packautomaten) and Tobias Röschl (Jako) were appointed.

As before, the committee includes club president Vogt, VfB vice president Rainer Adrion, executive committee member Christian Riethmüller, as well as Franz Reiner and Peter Schymon as representatives of Daimler AG. Vogt's new deputy is to be elected shortly at the constitutive meeting of the Supervisory Board.
