Ilshofen (dpa / lsw) - A man found a grenade from the Second World War in Ilshofen (Schwäbisch Hall district). It is a model of American design, the police said on Thursday. Nobody was in danger.
According to the investigators, the 59-year-old was traveling with a metal detector on Wednesday. Explosive ordnance disposal experts removed the grenade. "The grenade is either dismantled or detonated in a controlled manner," said a police spokesman.
