Bavaria: Brose is expanding its Bamberg site

Bamberg (dpa / lby) - The automotive supplier Brose is expanding its location in Bamberg. The construction of several buildings will double the capacities on the Berliner Ring from 600 to over 1200 jobs. A new administration building with an area of ​​13,000 square meters is "needed for the future expansion of the family business. In addition, the current lack of space at Brose in Coburg and Hallstadt is to be eliminated," the company announced on Wednesday. The building and outdoor facilities should be finished in 2024 and cost 60 million euros. "The expansion in Bamberg shows that Brose is looking to the future with confidence despite the current difficult conditions and would like to offer more attractive jobs." The group is aiming for sales of more than 7 billion euros this year and employs more than 30,000 people worldwide.
