Gunzenhausen (dpa / lby) - A 23-year-old man was found dead next to a platform at the train station in Gunzenhausen in central Franconia. The Ansbach murder commission is investigating a homicide, the police said on Saturday.
According to initial investigations, there may have been an argument in the area of the Hafner market early in the morning, in which a 23-year-old suffered a knife wound in the upper body, it said. The man was injured and taken to a hospital.
About two and a half hours later, railway employees discovered the body of the other 23-year-old at the station. The dead man had injuries that indicated physical violence. A possible connection will now be examined. The police are also asking for witnesses.
