Bavaria: Drunk wants to steal the police bike from Revier

Augsburg (dpa / lby) - A drunk man failed in Augsburg when trying to steal a police bike from a police station. The 41-year-old actually wanted to pick up a stolen wallet from the officials, the police said on Sunday. After the police officers told him on Friday that the purse was in another department, the man tampered with one of the officials' service bikes. The investigators noticed the attempted theft and brought the drunk to the holding cell. He now faces a theft charge.
