Munich (dpa / lby) - A Eurojackpot player from Munich carried around the game receipt for winning millions in his briefcase for months without knowing it. The almost 50-year-old casual player had won more than 1.2 million euros at the beginning of November 2022, but did not notice it, as the state lottery and casino administration announced on Tuesday. According to his own statements, the man only discovered his winnings when he recently wanted to play again.
He had his old game receipt checked and found out that he had won - but not exactly how much. At home he checked his numbers and found that his receipt was worth more than 1.2 million euros. The man from Munich does not yet know what he will do with the profit.
