Bavaria (dpa / lby) - A fire in a warehouse in Bavaria (Ebersberg district) caused a lot of damage. According to initial investigations, the cause of the fire was a technical defect in a combined heat and power plant, the police said. The fuel - so-called wood chips - was according to the information in the vicinity of such a power plant. According to initial estimates, the police assumed a sum in the six to seven-digit range on Monday. Wood chips are shredded pieces of wood that are used, among other things, as renewable fuels.
