Bremen/Nuremberg (dpa/lby) - Benjamin Goller should leave the Bundesliga soccer team Werder Bremen during the winter break and join 1. FC Nuremberg. After several loan deals in the past with Darmstadt 98 and Karlsruher SC, the 23-year-old should now be firmly committed to the Franconian second division team, as reported by "Kicker" and the "Deichstube" portal on Sunday. Goller's contract with the Hanseatic League would have expired on June 30, 2023. Official notifications were initially not available.
In the current season, the winger was not used for the promoted team in the Bundesliga. Born in Reutlingen, he was last loaned to Karlsruhe and returned to the Weser in the summer.
