The VfL Wolfsburg footballers have clinched their tenth win in their tenth game in the Bundesliga. The German champions won 3-0 (2-0) in the last league game of the year against SV Meppen. The cup winners were undeterred by the victories of their rivals and maintained a five-point lead over Bayern Munich.
Tabea Waßmuth (17th minute/21st) gave the Wolves the lead against Meppen. Pauline Bremer (73rd) increased the penalty with a penalty. It was the 21st Bundesliga win in a row for the Wolfsburg team across the season.
