Eching in Lower Bavaria (dpa / lby) - The police are publicly looking for a 33-year-old who is said to have seriously injured an 89-year-old in the Landshut district, among other things. The Landshut Criminal Police Inspectorate announced on Wednesday that the man from Poland was being investigated for attempted homicide.
The 33-year-old was therefore the caretaker of the old woman. Her son found her seriously injured on December 2nd in her house in Eching, where the carer has lived since August 2022. "The 33-year-old has since fled and his whereabouts are unknown," the police said. She also published a photo of the man.
The investigators have not yet commented on a possible motive or the exact course of the alleged crime. The 89-year-old is said to be still in intensive care. The injuries inflicted on her are potentially life-threatening.
