Augsburg (dpa / lby) - In investigations into child pornography, the criminal police in Swabia searched around 20 apartments. Cell phones, laptops and tablets were secured on Tuesday and Thursday in Augsburg and in the districts of Augsburg and Aichach-Friedberg, the police said. The accused are suspected of having distributed or possessed child pornographic images and videos, mostly on chat platforms such as Whatsapp. However, the crimes are not directly related.
According to the officials, the suspects are between 15 and 52 years old. Investigations revealed, among other things, that a 16-year-old is said to have shared pictures of sexual acts on the social network Instagram several times. The seized devices are now being evaluated by specialists.
