Bavaria: senior races through construction site: man thrown out of the car

Asbach-Bäumenheim (dpa / lby) - After a senior raced through a construction site in the Swabian district of Donau-Ries, a 72-year-old was thrown out of the car. As a police spokesman announced on Sunday, the 82-year-old overlooked the construction site on federal highway 2 and continued unabated on Saturday evening near Asbach-Bäumenheim for 200 meters. Because he rammed several warning beacons, the car was pulled to the right against the 72-year-old's car. This came off the road, crashed into a tree and rolled over. The senior was thrown from the vehicle. A helicopter flew the seriously injured 72-year-old to a hospital. The 82-year-old and his 79-year-old passenger were taken to a clinic with minor injuries.
