Kelheim (dpa/lby) - In Lower Bavaria, a convicted sex offender fled during a day off on Monday afternoon. The 59-year-old was at an accompanied exit in the area of ​​the Weltenburg monastery near Kelheim, the police reported. In doing so, he escaped. The man is considered dangerous. The police also searched for the criminal with a helicopter, but initially without success. The population was warned not to pick up hitchhikers in the Kelheim area.
