Neuburg an der Donau (dpa/lby) - Graves in a cemetery in the Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district have been devastated for the second time. This time, the officers caught the young offenders in the act on Friday night, according to a police spokesman. The 14 and 15-year-olds admitted to having destroyed around 80 graves in the cemetery in Neuburg an der Donau the day before. They mainly damaged grave lamps and plants.
How many graves they damaged in the second night was initially unclear. The damage again amounts to several thousand euros, said the spokesman. The day before, damage of around 8,000 euros had occurred. The young people are now being investigated, among other things, for disturbing the peace of the dead.
