Bavaria: Young man threatened passengers in the train with a knife

Erlangen (dpa / lby) - An 18-year-old man threatened fellow passengers with a knife on a regional train in Franconia. A police officer who happened to be present and two passengers overwhelmed the man, as the federal police reported on Wednesday. The man got on the train on Tuesday, screaming loudly and armed with a pocket knife about seven centimeters long. After the arrival of the train coming from Forchheim at Erlangen station, the 18-year-old was arrested. He went to a psychiatric hospital.
